UK shipping started, International soon, and Remake progress

Hello friends,
Today the first batch of orders were sent out. In the next coming days I will be sending out orders WITHOUT defective pins (both chrome and gold Discords, chrome Trixie, chrome Rarity and chrome Fluttershy). They will be being sent UK first, then all international orders.
so. many. PINS! i'd be sick of them if they weren't so adorable!
Orders with sticker and keychain add-ons will be delayed by about a week as the house they're being stored in is currently under quarantine. Yes, in the year 2024 my father decided to catch Covid-19... I'm trying to negotiate a way to be able to pick up the add-ons, so they may come earlier, but about a week is the expected timeframe.
You will receive an email from BackerKit once your order is shipped, with the provided tracking code if you paid for Mail +.
In other news, remakes are currently in the works and I'm hoping to receive them as soon as possible. Here are some pictures:

This campaign has been... very chaotic, and quite stressful. I'll be honest when I say almost everything that could go wrong, did. After this campaign I will be switching manufacturers as 300/700 pins being faulty should've never passed QA.
Despite this, I'm glad to be getting the pins out and apologise again for all of the delays. I hope that in the end I can deliver some pins you really love!

Bad News Part 2, Package Updates

Hello friends,
All non-defect pins are all packed up onto their backing cards, and I will start shipping UK orders soon. Thank you for your patience.
I'm very disappointed to say that during inspection I found that all Chrome Discords are also defective.
underfilled enamel on the eyebrows and ears. all discord pins have underfilled areas
I apologise for not realising this earlier. My manufacturer has agreed to also reproduce these ones and they will be arriving with the others in about 3 weeks.
I feel awful about the amount of defective pins, alongside the designs which were 100% faulty, the other pins also had a very high defect rate, but enough to fulfil rewards. This will also be a financial hit for me as I won't be able to sell the pins at their normal price.
I will definitely be reconsidering my collaboration with this manufacturer in the future. I apologise sincerely for the delays this will cause.

Pins Received + Bad News

Hello there friends,
It took longer than expected but today the pins finally arrived. Sadly not all the pins are perfect and for some there will be delays.
3/9 of the chroma designs are at an almost 100% defect rate. Chroma Trixie, Chroma Fluttershy and Chroma Rarity are all unsellable right now.
Trixie has multiple dark spots on her plating, and some areas without any plating at all, where the base silver metal shows through. Also, her main body colour has been darkened during the plating process, making her 'shading' lighter than her normal body.
Fluttershy's plating is covered in red spots, and the plating on her eyes is inconsistent.
I care deeply about putting out quality products and sadly none of these 3 are up to the standards I expect of my products, and I cannot send them out. I've contacted my manufacturer for a remake and been assured they will send me extensive pictures of ALL pins before they're sent out so I can assure this doesn't happen again.
If your shipment is delayed, you will be receiving a free alicorn sticker pack along with your pins. My manufacturer has given me a production time of 15-18 days for the remakes, and I will keep people updated during this time
Otherwise, all the other designs are correct and being processed right now. I'm just one person sorting out about 500 pins, so please be patient while I organise them to be sent out!
TLDR:
If you have Chroma Fluttershy, Trixie, or Rarity, your shipment of pins will be delayed. You will be receiving a free alicorn sticker pack as compensation.
If you have the gold versions of these characters, or any chroma/gold pins not mentioned, shipment will begin soon.
Production Update!

Hello friends!
It’s been a while since the last full update! In the mean time, I’ve been updating you in my previous update’s comments, but I think we’re close enough to the finish to warrant another full update!
All pins are completely finished except Twilight, who needs to be screen-printed. This will be complete by Monday, when the pins will be shipped out to me. Pin shipments usually take 2 days and I will be taking 1-2 days to manually grade these pins, add them to their backing cards and sort them. All other add-ons (stickers, keychains and floaties) are complete and waiting for fulfilment.
I’m putting a tentative shipping date for UK parcels on the 8th, and international parcels will be gradually shipped out over the rest of that week. Sadly these pins took a bit of sampling to get completely right but I’m very happy with how they look now!
If all goes well, the next update will be sent when I receive the pins and get some high quality pictures not from my manufacturer.
